What is a flat dash trim kit?
A dash trim kit is a decorative add-on to your vehicle’s interior. These kits are generally installed over the top of the existing dash surface to give the vehicle an aesthetically pleasing appearance. What is a dash kit made of?
A dash trim kit is made up of 3 layers, three individual sections of materials. These are: the 3M adhesive backing tape, the trim material itself, and the special clear polyurethane coating. Please see images below:

Does the trim installation involve a professional service?
This dash trim installation does NOT involve any professional skills or tools, just a little of improvisation & a person’s patience will help you get a dash trim set installed in your ride. Installation Instructions, a diagram, schematic with the pieces shown, alcohol swabs & 3M 95 primer glue sticks will be provided with your dash trim order.
How long does it take to install a kit?
The amount of time installation normally takes depends on the size of the kit, so it’s all individual per each & every set. Obviously, the kits with more pieces take more time. For a first-time installer, expect to spend one to one-and-a-half hours on the installation. With a minimal amount of practice, installations will be completed in an hour. Familiarize yourself with the installation instructions and assemble your materials prior to installation to save a little time.
What do I do if I damage a part during the installation process?
If you damage a piece or pieces during installation, please contact us at your earliest convenience via email or phone # provided in the “contact us” form presented on the website home page. Our customer service team member will respond to you within 24 to 48 hours to resolve any issues you may have with your order. The piece / pieces will be remade for you in a timely manner at a nominal charge, we will use your returned damaged / mishandled piece as a color match, so that your new piece/s will match your original order.
How can I find a professional installer?
Most local car accessories shops, based in your home town, city, & township, would generally offer dash trim installer services right on premises. Please contact them locally and they’ll gladly assist you with installing your dash trim set in your vehicle.
Can I remove the trim after installation?
Our dash trim set products are designed to be permanent. Nevertheless, it could be removed with either a heat gun or a hair blower. The heat would normally make the pieces warm & flexible enough to be removed. You may also need to apply a degreaser, a special substance to wipe down residual glue or 3M tape.
What are the trim sets made of?
All products are made from high quality materials 1/8″ thick, with a 3M double-sided adhesive backing tape. Scratch and UV resistant finish with a Polyurethane clear coating applied right over. What is OEM?
The OEM stands for “Original Equipment” parts installed by Manufacturers. Please be advised that some vehicles already have factory-installed wood grain accents & dashboard wooden parts. Our trim sets basically complement what has already been installed to match existing wood, carbon fiber or aluminum finishes.
